  I knew when we left home I was taking a chance by going on vacation to Lauderdale by the sea. I had previously broke 2 teeth. I am a mother of 5 children and naturally they will come first. Let me say I have a fear of dentist. Since I am Native American I do receive free dental but all they do is pull teeth and cleanings. While I was down there I couldn't take the pain anymore so I asked the front desk where a dentist was. They recommended this guy since he was fairly close. I had been using some over the counter stuff to keep food and cover what I was told an expose nerve (but not by him). After my X-ray he sits in a chair in front of me and ask me what kind of drugs do I take. I said excuse me? He repeated himself. Since i was already nervous being there it didn't dawn on me he was asking if I use illegal drugs. I wanted to leave so bad but I was hurting. I tried to act like his question didn't bother me so we made small talk and then he gave me a script for an antibiotic. I fully understood there was no sense on working on the teeth that broke since I was only going to be there for a short time. He told me in 24 hours I should feel a lot better. Well 24 came and went 48 hours came and went 72 and no relief. I went through so much numbing medicine. I wasn't about to go any where else and be asked what drugs I use. If he thought this, then what if other did. Since we drove to Florida I had was miserable. I'd just like this doctor to know not everyone who has broken teeth that rotted is a drug addict. You humiliated me. I did not pay for this trip so it's not one of those if you can afford to go on vacation you can afford to get your teeth fix. Like I was told if I did that illegal drug you'd see other signs like out breaks on my skin, scabs where they were picked and I sure wouldn't be as heavy as I am. You have no clue how hard it was for me to even go to your office then have to sit there while you interrogated me. We stopped at a quick care in Mississippi where they were kind and understanding. The changes the antibiotic and gave me some pain medication because the numbing cream was starting to burn my gums from over use. No one there ask me what kind of drugs I took! Maybe if you live in the area he may be your cup of tea. If your from out of town go to a quick care or any other dentist that can get you in. I gave him two stars only because he didn't care me and arm and a leg for doing nothing. He charged me for my X-rays to which he let me take those back home with me. Maybe you should find out people's back up story instead of coming from looking at the X-ray and the first words out of your mouth what drugs do you use. 50 years old and I've NEVER been asked that in the manor you were referring too. If i had other signs of meth use then I could understand. Thank you for embarrassing me In front of ur assistant and ur receptionist who looked down on me
